About Primetime Sports

Co-founded by brothers Josh and Cedric Beteta, who boast a combined coaching experience of 30 years, the facility is closely tied to their roles as coaches at Ferris High School & passion for the game.

For Josh and Cedric, Primetime Sports is the realization of a long-held dream. Growing up near the facility's location, establishing a training hub in their childhood neighborhood signifies a significant milestone in their journey. 

Their shared vision is to cultivate a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere that caters to the diverse recreational needs of the Jersey City community.

Our mission is to empower and inspire athletes to excel both on and off the field. We are committed to providing high-quality training programs that focus on skill development, character building, and fostering a love for the game. Through our dedication, we aim to empower our athletes to overcome challenges, set and achieve goals, and become positive role models in their communities.

Primetime Sports Academy is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded with a vision to make a positive impact on the lives of inner-city youth. Specializing in baseball with additional offerings in soccer and football training, our programs are designed to not only enhance athletic skills but also to instill values such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.
